Walking Directions From Harvard Square (closest subway stop)
- Walk north, away from Harvard Square on Massachusetts Avenue. Walking on the left-hand side of the street, continue past Church Street on your left.
- Follow the road as it bends to the left at the cemetery onto Garden Street.
- The HFRP offices are just ahead on the left on Garden Street at the intersection with Appian Way.
Driving Directions From the Mass Pike (I-90 East)
- Exit the Mass Pike East at Exit 18, “Brighton, Cambridge.”
- Move to the right on the exit ramp and stay right at the fork to “Cambridge, Somerville.”
- Go straight through two sets of traffic lights and over Charles Street, moving to the left lane.
- Immediately after crossing over the Charles River, turn left onto Memorial Drive (note the Shell station across the street).
- Continue on Memorial Drive 1.1 miles along the river. The river should be on your left. Immediately after Ash Street, take the next right off Memorial Drive.
- At the first stop light, turn right onto Mt. Auburn Street.
- Take the next left onto Ash Street.
- At the end of Ash Street, go straight onto Mason Street.
- At the end of Mason Street, turn right onto Garden Street.
- The HFRP offices are one block ahead on the right, at the corner of Garden Street and Appian Way. Park in any of the metered spots. Watch out for any Permit Parking Only or Street Cleaning signs.
