Erin Harris is a Senior Research Analyst at Harvard Family Research Project, where she has worked since 2001. She manages the Out-of-School Time (OST) Learning and Evaluation Initiative, which is focused on building the OST field through the timely development and dissemination of quality evaluation information and tools. The cornerstone of this work is the development of an online database and bibliography of OST research and evaluation reports.
Erin contributes to other OST and evaluation projects as a senior research analyst, such as the evaluation of the Packard Foundation's Preschool for California's Children grantmaking program. She also contributes to The Evaluation Exchange, a nationally-renowned periodical on emerging evaluation strategies and issues. She has a particular interest in evaluation methods and design, theory of change approaches, and the use of evaluation for learning and improvement.
Prior to joining HFRP, Erin worked as an administrator for group homes serving abused and neglected children in Walnut Creek, California.
Erin holds an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Sociology from New College of Florida.
