Helen Westmoreland is a Research Analyst with the family involvement team at Harvard Family Research Project (HFRP). In this capacity, she supports HFRP's efforts to build an expanded and improved understanding of family engagement in school and nonschool contexts by connecting research, practice, and policy. Helen's work at HFRP also includes conducting a cluster evaluation of The Atlantic Philanthropies' Disadvantaged Children and Youth strategy and contributing to The Evaluation Exchange.
Before coming to HFRP, Helen coordinated student partnerships and program evaluations for community-based after school programs in the Duke–Durham Neighborhood Partnership.
Helen received her master's degree in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and her B.A. in Spanish from Duke University.
