Lorette McWilliams is a Research Analyst at Harvard Family Research Project. As a member of the Family Involvement team, she supports the efforts of the Office of Head Start National Center on Parent, Family, and Community Engagement.
Prior to coming to HFRP, Lorette worked in public and private schools primarily as a school psychologist. She has experience in conducting psycho-educational evaluations, consulting with families, school personnel, and outside agencies in support of student learning as well as experience as Special Education Chairperson.
Lorette is currently a PhD candidate at Lesley University, with an academic interest in family/school/community partnerships and intersections of policy and practice. She holds a Master of Education (M.Ed) and Certificate of Graduate Studies (CAGS) from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Lorette received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
