Maria Pizano is a Research Specialist at Harvard Family Research Project (HFRP). As a specialist in family and community engagement and digital media and learning, Maria works on several projects including the Office of Head Start National Center on Parent, Family, and Community Engagement and HFRP’s evaluation of digital media and learning initiatives.
Prior to joining HFRP, Maria worked for the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension, where she designed and implemented programming at a 21st Century Community Learning Center. This role included developing leadership modules, college exposure modules, and STEM curricula for at-risk youth.
Maria holds an Ed.M in Prevention Science and Practice from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.S. from the University of Delaware in Human Services, with a concentration in Administration and Family Policy.
