Priscilla M.D. Little is the Associate Director of Harvard Family Research Project (HFRP). She manages and coordinates current research activities, participates in resource development and outreach to current and prospective funders, develops and cultivates relationships with national organizations, provides intellectual support to projects with a focus on facilitating cross-project synergy and management of priorities, and conducts activities to ensure the long-term performance and sustainability of HFRP.
 
Priscilla is also the Core Area Director for  HFRP's Out-of-School Time (OST) research and evaluation work, leading research teams to investigate policy-relevant OST issues such as improving participation, addressing program quality, building OST systems, and supporting out-of-school learning partnerships. Additionally, she serves on national research advisory boards and state after school boards, and speaks nationally on the research and evaluation of OST programs and how they can complement in-school learning and development. In addition to conducting research on OST, Priscilla works on issues related to family engagement and using data for continuous improvement.

Priscilla's research interests include the evaluation of programs and policies to promote quality OST experiences for children as well as the evaluation of family involvement and early childhood programs.

Priscilla received her undergraduate degree from Smith College in 1981 and her Master's of Child Study from Tufts University in 1990, where she continued with doctoral studies in the same department through 1992. She lives in Medford, Massachusetts, with her husband and three daughters.
