Sarah George is the Department Administrator at Harvard Family Research Project (HFRP). She oversees the three administrative operations of finance, research administration, and human resources at HFRP. She also serves as a liaison to other departments within Harvard.
Prior to joining HFRP, Sarah served as a Project Manager/Epidemiologist in a healthcare setting. She oversaw the daily operations of a research unit and managed several on-going Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) studies that focused on environmental and genetic factors involved in the development and/or progression of the disease. In addition to her administrative duties, Sarah researched AMD and contributed as an author on several published articles on AMD.
Sarah received her Masters of Public Heath in Social & Behavioral Sciences and Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Boston University School of Public Health and her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
