In an effort to inspire new ideas and foster stronger links between research, practice, and policy, HFRP, with support from the C. S. Mott Foundation, convened a 2-day Symposium that brought together over 100 researchers, evaluators, policymakers, and practitioners. The newly expanded conference presentations section of our website now highlights key themes and resources from the Symposium, including participants’ insights about issues facing the after school field, notably issues of access, program quality, professional development, the role of evaluation research, and systems- building efforts.
