This month's FINE (Family Involvement Network of Educators) Newsletter has published a digest of a current research study, entitled Reading, Writing, and Reform in the Bronx: Lessons for Community Engagement in Schools; the syllabus from a course for teachers, Parents and Teachers Together: Creating Schools Our Children Deserve; and a FINE member insight on how grandparents can be involved in their grandchildren's learning. As usual, this month's newsletter also has links to many other new family involvement resources on the Web, including recent reports, toolkits, an upcoming event, and a grant opportunity.
