This month's FINE (Family Involvement Network of Educators) Newsletter has published a research report on how colleges of education can better prepare teachers to partner with parents and communities, a digest of new research on British Bangladeshi and Pakistani parent involvement in their children's education, a conference workshop on family involvement in out-of-school time programs, and a syllabus for a course on the past, present, and future trends in child and family policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. As usual, this month's newsletter has links to many other family involvement resources on the Web, including books, reports, articles, toolkits, workshops, a parent-training program, and upcoming events.
