The Fall 2003 edition of the biannual e-newsletter published by FINE (Family Involvement Network of Educators), the
FINE Forum, is now available on the FINE website. This issue asks how we can renew parent-teacher relations. It includes an interview with Sara Lawrence-Lightfoot and examines one professor's efforts to prepare teachers for parent involvement in an urban setting. This month's newsletter from FINE also includes a Member Insight on Philadelphia's new move to have teachers grade parents on their involvement, as well as links to many other new family involvement resources on the Web, including reports, articles, an event, and resources for parents and teachers.
