We've published a recent symposium presentation examining parenting behaviors and their associations with children's outcomes in adolescence—including children's participation in out-of-school time activities—on our website. These remarks were presented as part of a symposium on the changing role of parenting across the life span at the annual meeting of the Society for the Study of Human Development, which took place in Asilomar, California, this past October.
